KD/HT Pallets & Crates

Kiln-dried Spruce, this is our leading product. The purchasing department
of CPS Wood Products work diligently to ensure we buy our product
cheaper than our competition. The purchasing advantage has allowed us to
open up large markets in the U.S. to this product. Industries such as the
appliance and crate industry can now purchase from CPS Wood Products,
kiln-dried material at pallet prices. KD/HT certificates are now available to
our customers to warrant against foreign country imports policies. For
example, this became a pertinent issue in early 2000 when foreign
countries put restrictions on North American coniferous lumber due to
concerns regarding insects and other pests in the lumber. Other than the
kiln-dried aspect, another unique advantage of spruce is that it has the
capability to carry heavy loads while the pallet itself is approximately 40%
of the weight of similar hardwood products. This can result in huge
cost-saving measures in the shipping department for companies. We are
not suggesting that spruce is the ultimate product, as admittedly hardwood
products will stand up to more abuse. Thus we will work with
you to determine if this product will suit your needs best.
